How to choose your paper

Weight is measured in gsm. Under 150gsm is a sheet you hand out or mail. Between 170 and 250gsm is a folded brochure or a cover. Above 300gsm is a card that stands on its own. Coated stocks hold colour sharply and suit photography; uncoated stocks take a pen and suit stationery. Lamination protects a surface that will be handled, and matt lamination is the safer choice in a humid climate because gloss shows fingerprints.
